Today I went to visit Josh at the station for about an hour and ate lunch with him before he got underway on one of the boats. I took some pictures of the Communications Watch Bay (Watch Room) that he and some other guys remodeled recently. They did a really good job.
I also took some pictures of the Boat House and Boat Slip that is full of ice chunks. Josh said it will completely freeze over this winter.
This is the sign up in the Boathouse that the MKs (stands for Machinery Technicians, that's what Josh will officially be soon) made. I'm not sure how old it is. I thought it was cute and picture-worthy, the guy's attempt to domesticate a room full of power tools.
