I know I promised less gardening posts, but I'm pretty sure this is blogworthy and I'm pretty excited about it. And after all, who doesn't enjoy a nice flower?This morning as I was watering all the plants, I noticed the black-eyed susan vine's first flower! The picture doesn't do it justice, it's stunning in person and is a little bigger than a quarter. I don't think it's fragrant though. I stuck my nose in it a few times and didn't smell a thing, but the bright, cheery color certainly makes up for it.
We've got a busy weekend ahead of us full of goodbyes to friends who are transferring out and barbecues, so I'll be posting about all of that Sunday night or Monday. Have a nice weekend!
