Well, we have some big news! We're pregnant! We found out August 22 but have kept quiet until now, just to make sure the pregnancy was going well. Today we went to our third prenatal appointment, where we finally heard the heartbeat for the first time! Today I am 10 weeks, 5 days pregnant and the due date is April 30, 2010! We're both absolutely thrilled! The video we've added at the top of this post is from today's appointment, which Josh recorded!
When we found out we were expecting, we learned that Baby was the size of a poppy seed at that time and the name stuck, so Baby's nickname is Poppyseed for now. I've started a pregnancy blog to keep everyone updated on what's going on. It will also serve as sort of a personal journal/scrapbook so we can keep track of all these exciting memories. We also recently learned that Josh's cousin and her husband are expecting at the same time we are! We're pretty excited about that!
