Yesterday as I was watering the plants and transferring the new tomato sprouts (now a total of 4!) to the windowsill I decided it was time to transfer the morning glory, moon flower and black-eyed susan vines from their ceramic pots to peat pots that will be easier to plant next month in hanging baskets. I had the biggest mess in the kitchen, dirt was everywhere...and that's when Josh decided it would be the perfect time to make a late breakfast in our tiny kitchen. Luckily he didn't end up with potting soil in his chocolate milk.So far all the plants are doing well and are still alive! This past weekend was really nice and sunny so we left the window open each day to give the plants some fresh air and sunshine.
Josh went to his first physical therapy appointment today. The appointment was supposed to be two weeks ago but there was a mix up at the office that bumped it back to today. Anyway, the physical therapist said it was almost "impossible" for Josh to be doing as well as he is so soon after surgery! He couldn't believe it! He showed Josh some excercises to do at home and sent him home with a big rubber band to work with.
Tonight after dinner we took a walk around our neighborhood and stopped in to Petsmart and looked at the fish, birds and other animals and in to Dick's Sporting Goods to look at bikes. Detroit Tiger Pudge Rodriquez just happened to be at Dick's so it was a major photo op! I know somebody who might be a little jealous!
