Parental Visitation: Volume II

Last Thursday, after watching Josh's station work a search and rescue case, the in-laws and I headed over to Comerica Park for a Detroit Tiger's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. There's nothing like a MLB game; the smells, the vendors yelling, the crowd's excitement, the atmosphere, it was all so much fun even though it was unusually warm that day.

We enjoyed a lunch of hotdogs and Italian sausages smothered with sauteed peppers and onions (which were fantastic!) beside the baseball ferris wheel. Later a nice breeze blew through the stadium and gave us a break from the heat.

We left the game early to beat the crowds and walked downtown about 7 blocks back to our vehicle to cool off. The Tigers won, by the way! Next stop: Josh's station for a boat ride!
