On our way back to the station Josh did some fun turns and doughnuts in the water. D and I were glad to get back on land after that! Josh did such a great job driving the boat though, we were all very impressed.

Parental Visitation: Volume III
After enjoying a Tiger's game last Thursday, we went over to Josh's station for a visit and were fortunate enough to go on a boat ride! We got our life jackets on, got a crew on the boat and then Josh drove us up the Detroit River, over by the Riverfront (where we had just been hours earlier) and by the Ambassador Bridge to Canada. Touring Detroit from the water was such a different experience from seeing it from land!

Wow, super-cool! I'll bet that was awesome. My prone-to-sea-sickness self would have been waving to you from the shore line. Isn't it great to spend some time checking out what our guys work so hard at doing?
