Foreigner Concert; Volume I

Friday night Josh and I went to the last Rockin' on the River summer concert sponsered by GM on the Detroit Riverfront. Foreigner was a huge attraction for Metro-Detroiters, I'd say 1,500-2,000 people showed up, making the Riverfront incredibly packed. It was a little muggy outside, but being surrounded by our friends, sitting right on the Detroit River, a great view of Windsor, Canada, and hearing Foreigner live in the background, life was pretty great.

Isn't Josh handsome in that new green shirt? That's the stage behind him and the GM building over to the right.

Look at all those people! See those buildings in the background on the left? That's Windsor!


Josh and I tried to get some decent pictures but you wouldn't believe the crowds! Josh took this picture by raising the camera over his head as high as he could; he did pretty good!

If you read the update in Friday's post, you'll know the pictures suddenly went from very far away from the stage, to me getting sprayed by Foreigner's sweat! It was a whirlwind and I'll continue to blog about it this week!
